14.8 GW commissioned and ₹28,024 cr paid to households by direct transfer. Installations a day went from 5,038 in October 2025 to about 16,328 in July 2026, the busiest month so far. The target is 1 crore homes by March 2027.
More site surveys for Jodhpur’s rooftop solar installers
Rajasthan adds 10,000+ rooftop systems a month under PM Surya Ghar. Homeowners compare installers on their phones.
Rooftop solar is growing fast in Jodhpur. Homeowners still don’t know who to trust.
Installations under PM Surya Ghar have tripled in the Jodhpur Discom area in eight months. Most households who want solar never take the first step, because nobody explains the process to them clearly. The installer who explains it best wins the job.
Up from 28,490 beneficiaries in November 2025, about three times as many in eight months. Jodhpur Discom has about 31% of Rajasthan’s 2,70,090 systems (our calculation).
₹78,000 central subsidy plus ₹17,000 from the state for consumers registered under the Chief Minister’s free electricity scheme (our sum). Central slabs:
71% of willing households never take the first step because they cannot find clear, trusted guidance. 87% of those who install would recommend their vendor.
1,681 MW from 639 feeder-level plants serving 84,088 farm pumps (KUSUM-C), and 336 MW from 240 plants on farmers’ land (KUSUM-A).
Discom-led rooftop installations with five years of maintenance, tendered in July 2026. Independent installers now compete with a discom programme as well as with each other, so being easy to find and easy to trust matters more.

Straight answers
How do solar installers in Jodhpur get more leads without relying on dealers?
Homeowners now search before they call. A website with a subsidy calculator, pages for each customer type and area, real installation photos, and a well-kept Google profile brings enquiries directly. Add a CRM that reminds your team to call every lead quickly, and more of those enquiries become site surveys.
What is the PM Surya Ghar subsidy now, and can my website show it?
The central subsidy is ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the third, up to ₹78,000 for systems of 3 kW and above. In Rajasthan, consumers registered under the Chief Minister’s free electricity scheme can get ₹17,000 more. Your calculator shows these slabs, and we update them whenever the government revises them. The subsidy itself is decided and paid by the government, not by you.
What payback period should we show customers?
Only an estimate based on their own bill, roof and system size, and always labelled as an estimate. Payback depends on tariff, usage and shading. IEEFA found that small systems under 2 kW often take more than six years to pay back even after the subsidy. A clear calculation builds more trust than a big claim.
Can the CRM track subsidy and net-meter stages?
Yes. Each customer moves through portal registration, discom feasibility, installation, inspection, net meter and subsidy credit. The CRM shows how many days each case has been at each stage and alerts you when one stalls, so you can follow up before the customer calls you.
What are AEO and GEO, and why should a solar installer care?
AEO (answer engine optimisation) makes your pages easy for Google’s AI Overviews to quote when someone asks “how much subsidy for 3 kW solar”. GEO (generative engine optimisation) helps ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity name your company when someone asks for an installer in Jodhpur. Both depend on clear facts, structured data and consistent mentions across the web.
We also do commercial and KUSUM projects. Is one website enough?
Yes, as long as each customer type has its own page. A factory owner wants payback and tariff savings, a farmer wants KUSUM eligibility in Hindi, and a homeowner wants the subsidy. One site with separate pages ranks for all three and keeps your brand in one place.
I already have a website. Do I need a new one?
Not always. Start with the free audit. Often, adding a calculator, area pages and a proper enquiry flow to the site you have is enough. If it can’t be fixed sensibly, we’ll say so and quote a rebuild.
